wish I had this item 20 years ago...

Purchased last fall(2002) it has made yard cleanup much easier.  Teamed up with our JD Gator it has proven to be a real time saver. It easily handles tree limbs up to 4" dameter, shrub prunings and even does an admirable job of shredding our ornamental grasses.

This was a pile of spruce branches from two storm felled trees. It was reduced to the load of chips shown in the last image in approximately 10 minutes.

While not specifically intended for such use it doe a nice job turning this clump of Miscanthus Sinensis into a load of chopped straw.
