Newcomers to the sport of woodturning are often advised of a variety of
"must haves" and "must do" based not on the necessity but more on the individual preferences of
other turners.
Here I will share some of my own experiences in an attempt to illuminate what I perceive to be some of the most common myths of woodturning.
I will admit my experience is limited as I have only been turning since 2000 and my thoughts are based on the necessity and not necessarily the purported convenience of any item/practice.
The opinions are my own and not in any way intended to offend those who will surely disagree.
